Test Unit Breast Pumps

AQ Baby N Kids telah beroperasi secara online selama hampir 3 tahun. Bagi tahun 2016 kami bercadang untuk meluaskan perniagaan dengan membuka sebuah kedai. Berbagai tempat yang kami cari tapi masih dalam rundingan. Antara kawasan yang kami pilih adalah USJ, Kota Damansara dan Shah Alam.

Kami juga akan serius menjual breastpump. Beberapa brand breastpump telah ada dalam senarai. Iaitu Medela, Avent, Lacte, Spectra dan Autumnz. Kesemua breastpump yang akan kami jual mulai Februari 2016 akan  mempunyai unit percubaan (test unit). Hanya Medela Freestyle sahaja yang belum ada test unit. Kesemua test unit hanya untuk single model sahaja bukan double sebab suction bagi setiap model single or double hampir sama.

Berikut adalah senarai breastpump. Bagi Medela hanya Medela Swing mempunyai test unit. Kami akan update sekiranya Medela Freestyle telah ada test unit.

Apa yang anda perlu tahu tentang Philip Avent ialah warranty nya dari local distributor iaitu Astra Group dan warranty nya adalah 2 TAHUN.  Sebab itulah  harga bagi Avent Malaysia agak mahal. Berhati2 bila membeli. Seperti Medela, Avent juga mesti dibeli oleh authorized dealer. Service center for Avent terletak di Plaza Damas, Sri Hartamas. Sekiranya anda dapati harga Avent agak murah dan seller kata warranty from Philips Malaysia, dan warranty 1 tahun, sah pam anda sebenarnya tidak ada warranty. Jangan tertipu! Beli yang direct from overseas juga tidak ada warranty.

Lightweight and Gentle Pump - Gets the Job Done

Philips AVENT has a single electric breast pump which does a pretty good job. I've been using Medela electric pump which I love.

Philips electric pump is a single pump rather then dual. I never liked doing both at the same time so single works perfect for me. Its BPA free and has a unique design which gives added comfort. You have 2 different expression settings, a low medium and high. It helps to stimulate milk flow with its sot and warm stimulating massage cushion. I do like its compact and light weight design. Other pumps are heavy and bulky, but not this one. Its great for transport and again love how light and small it is.

Suction was good - its more of a gentle suction but does do the job. Medela has a more powerful suction which to some may seem rough until they get use to it- but you have settings for that on those products too. Sometimes you don't need such a rough suction, and if thats not needed Philips AVENT would be the perfect pump for you. Especially if your home or need to take it on the go because its so light and compact. It takes / works with 4 AA batteries when on the go.

I also want to note they do have another model that is a double pump with two suction units if you prefer two over one. This model is the single.

Cleaning was easy and it is compatible with all Philips bottles as well. We are happy with their pump and style. I am use to more suction though since I do have a medela but this still did get the job done.

Medela is superior

The good
It's portable and works on standard double a batteries.
The tubing and motor will never touch milk. It's not possible.
It's really easy to clean without teeny membranes and lots of parts to disassemble.
The breast shield is really comfortable. It actually felt great to use.

The bad
I pumped for ten minutes on each side, twenty minutes total and only yielded half an ounce. I then went on to pump with my pump in style and got 6 ounces in five minutes. The milk was there, but the avent wasn't getting it out.
The suction isn't very powerful. There are three settings and with each higher setting, the speed showed down. So it just wasn't very effective at removing milk.

This might work well for a brand new pumper, when the milk is easy to pump, but for an extended nursed, the medela is clearly superior.

I do not plan to use this pump again.

Easy to use, comfortable, and easy to clean. LOVE IT.

I bought the Avent system, the bottles, the sterilizer, the manual pump for the first couple of weeks of breastfeeding, and the single electric for school. The reason why? Compatibility.

The whole system is interchangeable, from nipple rings on the bottles, to the heads on the pumps. Everything can get swapped around. It's AMAZING.

But this is the single pump, so I shall stop waxing poetic about the whole system and focus on the pump.

The manual pump was so great, my husband ordered it for me for our anniversary. I know; hella romantic. But as we both pointed out to my shocked mother: he'd rather get me something I can use and NEED than a trinket or another piece of jewelry. And I would rather receive something I can use than another trinket. It's a perfect gift for a new mom!

Used it for the first time after we had breastfeeding figured out, my son being 2 weeks old. I expressed for 10 minutes only and got about 1.3 oz into the bottle. I had already nursed on that side, but my son was full and I wanted empty the glands so I wouldn't become engorged.

The pump is EASY to use and is comfortable. Pumping is a weird experience, no matter what. You kind of feel like a cow getting milked, no getting around that. The urge to belch hugely and moo is almost unavoidable. But the Philips is gentle and efficient, making what could be a super uncomfortable situation much more comfortable.

The inner workings are easy to see and you can tell when your breast isn't giving up any more milk, so you know when to stop pumping safely. It's also very easy to disassemble and clean and sterilize. The vacuum tubing is completely sealed from the breast milk, so there's no way a catastrophic leak can occur and damage the pump section. It's pretty cool to see!

I love this pump and am excited to try it out when I'm at school. It will make leaving the house with my son much easier.

Perfect for date nights and travel!!

I love this pump for anytime I am out of my house and need to pump. I adore my Medela Pump In Style double pump, however it's huge size and weight just makes it ridiculous to bring out to dinner or anywhere else that I'm not in full on Mommy mode. There is no way to disguise that beast as a purse etc, and trying to plug it in somewhere is a mess. I have attempted to use manually operated pumps but I make a lot of milk and those are really only good at taking the edge off to prevent becoming completely engorged. The Phillips AVENT Single Electric pump is the answer to convenient and discreet pumping. It's tiny size fits discreetly into most of my purses and it operates wonderfully with a few batteries so I don't even have to plug it in anywhere. I was out to dinner with my husband's clients and was able to excuse myself to "make a quick phone call to the sitter" and pumped both breasts efficiently. I am a huge advocate of breastfeeding, both of my sons have never had formula, but sometimes I would rather not make a big production of breastpumping depending on the situation I am in. There just isn't anything very sexy about having to drag your suitcase sized breastpump around with you on a date night with your husband! This little single breastpump allows you to feel more like a wife and less like a Mom when you choose to. I wouldn't recommend this pump for every day pumping, but it is a wonderful second pump to own. It really gives you a lot of freedom. It is strong enough to drain my breasts and is quiet to operate. This is also great for traveling so you don't have to essentially use your carryon privilege for your breastpump.

Since ada yang complaint pam rosak selepas dua bulan digunakan tapi dengan valid warranty anda akan dapat replacement dengan cepat. So beli yang original Avent from Philips Avent Malaysia. Test unit will be available for Single Pump. 

Pam yang ketiga adalah Lacte

Lacte Solo and Lacte Duet. Test unit available for Lacte Solo. Anyway kami pilih pam ini disebabkan suction lebih baik dari Malish. Anyway kalau ada permintaan utk Malish kami akan masukkan. 

Pam seterusnya adalah Spectra Breast Pump. Spectra S9+ dan M1 dahulu.

Babyzen Yoyo 2016

Selepas beberapa tahun Lactaequip Malaysia Sdn Bhd menjadi distributor for Babyzen Yoyo, pada pertengahan tahun 2015, they annouced officially withdrawn from being Babyzen Malaysia Distributor. Ever since that, it is very hard to get any Babyzen Yoyo stock in Malaysia.

Dan yang paling sedih, even until now, no news about new appointed distributor. I even send email to Babyzen Yoyo and received reply informing that they have appointed new distributor in Malaysia tapi until now tak tau sapa.

And for your info, next year new model of Babyzen will appear.  The new product will come with Car Seat, yes!! New model is compatible with Maxi Cosi and Cybex Aton 2. Good news is it. Well hopefully I will manage to put this in my sales gallery.

HSBC Bank Malaysia-Servis yang teruk

Sekiranya anda mencari bank utk membuat loan, kad kredit, or even open a  new account, janganlah anda masukkan HSBC dalam list anda... knp? mari saya cerita pengalaman saya.

Saya pernah membuat refinance rumah flat saya di Klang. Tahun 2002 kalau tak silap dan branch yang saya berurusan adalah HSBC Bandar Baru Klang. Masa tu masih ok sebab kita senang nak communicate dengan staff bank. Bila call bank tanya info, nak tau status semua nya sangat senang. Bila HSBC tukar kaedah call kepada 1300 (spt dibawah) semuanya jadi sukar.

Kalau pilih bahasa Inggeris, agent di Filipina yang akan melayan anda. Nak tanya berapa amaun yang perlu dibayar pada bulan tu, dia hanya boleh bagi amaun yang sepatutnya saya bayar setiap bulan. Contohnya kalau loan rumah saya setiap bulan kena bayar RM635. Kalau saya bayar tiap-tiap bulan RM650, Dia hanya boleh bagi tau bulan tu payment u kena bayar tetap RM635. Sgt lembap! Sebab kalau bank directly akan bgtau brp amaun saya perlu jelaskan. Sebab pernah jugak dek sebab bayar lebih, saya hanya tinggal bank in RM100 sahaja.

Itu yang pertama. Hal sikit je, takpalah. Yang frustnya dan menjadi masalah besar bila saya jual rumah. Lawyer dah hantar surat ke bank request for redemption statement on my behalf. Surat sampai ke bank pada 7hb, Lepas seminggu, takda news dari bank, lawyer call bank banyak kali, tapi punyala susah nak dapat. Normally in one week da boleh dapat statement.  tapi pegawai yang incharge for settlement, only call my lawyer back regarding the issues on 15 Dec bagi tau tak boleh nak print redemption sebab takda signature my husband. Disebabkan loan yang I buat rasanya 12 or 13 years ago, tak ingat yang tu rupanya joint loan. Slownya la pegawai bank tu.

So bila tau status mcm tu, I call the bank. Punyalah susah. Call yang 1-300 mula2 pilih English, agent Filipina yang jawab. I request to speak to bank officer yang incharge for settlement, dia kata tak boleh. So I request for the officer to call me. Dia jawab they cannot call out. I nak request for redemption statement and collect kat nearest branch, dia jawab tak boleh request redemption statement, kalau nak jgk, kena walk in to branch. Apa dah jadi dgn HSBC ni... customers are not reachable to their staff... Sakit hati punya pasal I call nombor yang tuk International 0383215400 and this time pilih bahasa Malaysia. Yang ni mcm ok sikit tapi it is all end up useless. Lepas banyak kali kol, 2 hari kemudian, end up they said hanya lawyer sahaja yang boleh request for redemption statement. I yang buat loan, I yang bayar, kalau tiba2 I nak setelkan kena appoint lawyer ke.. hisssh stupid la. Bila bengang, call lawyer, speak to them, they gave me officer yang incharge for settlement, namanya Ricky. Bila cakap dengan Ricky ni lagi sakit hati. I request for my husband to sign the lawyer authorisation letter kat tempat dia to officially inform that he agrees to request for redemption statement, dia jawab tak boleh. Dia kata we didnt deal with customer. We didnt allow anyone to walk in. Hanya dispatch shj boleh htr document. What is the different between dispatch and us, we are human as well. Ni cuma nak request for redemption statement sebab nak buat full settlement. Bukannya mintak duit. Sakitnya hati. Da la sampai 23/12 masih takda apa2 perubahan. Nak dapatkan cepat, I sanggup pergi ke HSBC KL, collect document then hand over to my lawyer kat Sek 7 Shah Alam. Tapi bank langsung TAK LAYAN. Sombongnya..

I email complaint,  HSBC memang tak jaga customer. No action pun. Kenalah tunggu lawyer courier semula, and then maybe another 1 or 2 weeks baru dapat. Hari ni dah 23/12, next year je la nmpknya.

Bila cerita dengan kawan2, ada yang bagitau dia org guna kredit kad lagi teruk. Kad kena block pun terpaksa pergi branch. Hal-hal kecil semua terpaksa walk in. End up dia org potong kad, tukar bank lain.

Dalam banyak-banyak, sorry to say Maybank still can be reach. You still can call your branch. Dan yang bagusnya mereka ni very efficient. Dah bertahun berurusan dengan Maybank, my credit goes to them. Despite of all stupid charges they imposed, they still the best in service.

Well that's all.
